I've got a 414 where the shockmountelastic has stretched. Where can I get new?
Thanks,

Try a fabric shop. That's what I did. A little patience is needed to
rethread

I'll give you three guesses, and the first one starts with "A."

I had a Neumann shock mount with a rubber hair elastic band (as
opposed to "hair band") tied up with a square knot for a couple of
years, but I felt a lot better about trusting my mic in it when I got
the actual replacement part from Neumann.

I agree....except in this case, AKG lists Gotham as the folks to go to in the
USA. Didn't they just close their doors?

How strange. I'd think they'd sell the part themselves. Yes, Gotham
Audio Lab just closed a month or so ago, probably whoever maintains
AKG's web site doesn't know it or hasn't changed the listing.

Next step is a phone call to AKG in Nashville. [shudder!]
